1. Piggy tells Ralph to blow the conch.
2. Piggy wants his glasses because he said he's blind, and that they need it to make a fire for a ship.
3. Ralph wants his tribe to clean and professional looking when they see Jack.
4. Roger challenges them on their approach to castle rock.
5. Jack has been hunting
6. Ralph calls Jack a bloody selfish leader (i think)
7. Samneric decide to change tribes
8. He pushed a rock on him

9. I think that Roger is obviously responsible for his death, but when i really think of it, the whole group is responsible for his death too.
I think this because well Roger "put all his weight on the rock". He didn't forget that piggy was under him, and he probably was not relaxed at this time, so he did it on purpose. I think the group because they always treated piggy badly. For example, when they broke his glasses, that was not Piggy's fault, it was the groups' and how all the time, he never got to talk. If they would of treated him like he should of been treated, like a normal SMART useful person, then the glasses probably wouldn't have been taken.
I think this because Piggy is smart, and if only the group treated him better, Piggy would probably gain confidence to fight back when Jack took his glasses, or when the big rock came down, or even to help Ralph defend his side in the fight.
So you see if only Piggy was treated with respect by the group, he would most likley have his glasses, and then he could see, so he wouldnt even be in the path of the big rock.

1. In Simon's secret place, the flies prefer the pigs blood.
2. After Simon's seizure, simon goes up to the mountain to see what the beast is.
3. When simon gets up to the mountain and sees the aviator he untangles his parachute.
4. Piggy said to Ralph that they (Ralph and Piggy) go to the party.
5. They were excepted at the party because piggy bumped himself and everyone laughed.
6. He suggests that he get rid of the conch because they wouldn't need it in Jacks tribe.
7. It starts raining towards the end of the party
8. They sang, "Kill the beast, cut his throat, spill his blood"
9. Simon comes crawling from the jungle with news that the beast is only a dead man.
10. I think that simon is responsible for his own death. Because the Lord of the Flies, or his conscious told him that if he went and tried to tell everyone, something bad would happen to him. But i think that everyone is responsible for Simon's death too. Because they all went out of control and started stabbing simon. Then when simon started trying to tell them that the beast wasn't real, that it was just a dead body, they didn't listen, and they obviously heard his voice. I think that its their fault for getting out of control, and seeing him and starting to stab, bite, scratch, and well, kill him. But its also Simon's fault for not listening to himself, of his conscious.

I think that the most terrifying part in this chapter is the scene where jack makes the pigs head as a idol, "Lord of the Flies"
After Jack ran away with his hunters, him and his hunters go to look for a pig. They go into the forest and track down the smell of its droppings, and then Jack and his hunters see a female pig, the biggest pig that they've seen on the island. They get closer, and there's little piglets feeding off of her, in Simon's secret area in the forest, and Simon is there too. Then Jack and his hunters sneak up on her and Jack throws a spear at her stomach. It didn't effect her or her babies at all, so then someone else throws one, and that didn't effect her ether. With anger, Jack runs to her and the pig jumps up, and starts running around with two spears in her stomach. Then Jack jumps on her, and is stabbing her with another spear. Then the pig dies because of Jack stabbing her. Then after a brief minute or two the hunters gather around and start gutting her, singing,
"Kill the pig, Cut her throght, Spill her blood"
The hunters start cutting off her meet, and taking out her guts, and putting all the organs in a pile on a rock, that starts attracting a mob of flies. After that, Jack cuts her head off and puts her head on his spear, and names it "the Lord of the Flies" because the flies that were on the organs on the rock, now went to the pigs head.

Then Simon's little happy area is full of blood, organs and the Lord of the Flies
I think that this was the most gross part because it is really descriptive about how they gutted the pig, and how they stabbed her. This part also shows how wild, and out of order everyone in the hunter group got after Jack left and they were on there own, without rules. Also I think that if their tribe keeps going without rules, his tribe will overpower Ralph's and the island will loose all hope of being rescued. And they will all die.

CHAPTER 6: BEAST FROM AIR

"Theres a beastie!"

Dear journal:

Today something strange apperaed on the island. I think its the beastie, but I'm not sure. Sam 'n Eric saw it in the middle of the night and came down to wake us up. They came to us and woke Ralph up first. Then Ralph woke the rest or us up, so we would have a meeting about it.

In the meeting, they said they were sitting there about to fall asleep, and then one of them saw a figure, and they saw its head nod at them, and its eyes. They said it was sitting and that when they tried to run from it, it chased them, and that it had claws and almost got one of them. They were panting hard and they were very scared. I think they were scared because the beastie almost got them, and they way they described it, the beastie is really scary, and I would NOT want to come face to face with it like they did.

Before this, Jack broke one of my glasses, and I've had them for as long as I can remember. Now I only have one speck that I can see out of. Hence, one eye. I don't like Jack, he's just causing trouble on our island. Its rude, and not called for. Jack and Ralph got in a fight and I was there, and then one of my specks' pieces broke. I cant see out of that eye now.

Chapter seven; Shadows and Tall Trees

"Were falling apart"

Dear Journal:

Today was odd, and frustrating. I didnt like how Jack tried to make me look bad today. I noticed today that my hair is longer, and more untangled. I think i am becoming more savage, turning into the hunters. I wish i could just cut it off, and i wish i was at home again. I miss eating with my family and being in my warm bed.

Today while I was hunting I almost got a boar. After I missed we all made a circle around Robert. Then we started moving in on him. We were pretending he was a pig. I took my spear and poked him as a joke but then I really hurt him. I still wanted more. Jack went over to him and pulled his hair. He was really in pain. Then when we were done we thought of an idea. We could do this as a game. Dress someone up as a pig and make a circle like what we did to Robert. We couldn't think of anyone to pick, then Jack said "Let's just use a littlun." Surprisingly I laughed. This foreshadows that maybe a littlun might get hurt or even killed.

After awhile Roger,Jack and I decided to go up where the twins saw the beastie. When we got to the top of the mountain, we walked threw piles of ashes from the burnt out fire. Then we saw it. An object with its head between its legs. I could not tell what it was from a distance. Then, a gust of wind hit the mountain, making the object bob upward relveing a beat up mauled face. All of us ran down the mountain in horror.
